Refund policy
Thirty days from any payment, no reasons needed. A purchase, a subscription’s first payment or any renewal of it, a renewal of updates, an upgrade: write to [email protected] within 30 days of that payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to explain, and we would rather you asked than sat on software that isn’t for you.
A few honest notes. Refunding a subscription payment cancels the subscription as well, unless you ask us to keep it running, so nothing is charged again; its key then runs out on its own date, and isn’t sent again. A refunded licence bought once isn’t sent again either, and stops being renewable; we ask that you remove the key from your copies — we have no way to do that for you, which is a deliberate consequence of the app never phoning home about it. Refunding an upgrade returns the licence to Personal and leaves the Personal purchase itself untouched; the Personal key we send you then is the one to use. And if you bought through a marketplace rather than from us, that marketplace’s refund window applies instead; it is usually longer.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, your statutory right to cancel a digital purchase within 14 days is not affected by anything here. Paddle handles that process as the seller of record.
How to ask
- Write to [email protected] from the address you bought with. The order number from Paddle’s receipt helps, but isn’t required.
- We refund the payment in full through Paddle, our merchant of record, who took it.
- Paddle returns the money to the card or account you paid with. Card refunds usually show within a few working days.
You can also ask Paddle directly at paddle.net, with the details from your receipt.
